Failure analysis of heating plate in laboratory

    • Laboratory heating plate is widely used in the laboratory heating plate with a high safety system, including fixed safety circuit, overheating display and error display, the heating plate can also be equipped with a contact electronic thermometer, which can achieve high precision temperature control effect. In the process of using the heating plate in the laboratory, if there is a fault in the equipment, the user should deal with it according to the form of the fault.

      1. If the laboratory heating plate is not heated, users can refer to the following operations:

      1) detection of heat pipe: first cut off the power supply of the whole machine, and use a multimeter to test the resistance of the heat pipe. The wires of the heat pipe are connected together, and each wire should be cut off for detection. The resistance of the heat pipe is generally dozens of ohms to 200 ohms. If the resistance is infinite or several ohms it can be seen that the heating tube is damaged, replace it.

      2) test the heating switch: first cut off the power supply of the whole machine, switch the multimeter to the buzzer and switch to the one-word file, and use the meter pen to measure whether the terminals of the switch are in the open state. Both terminals are connected, indicating that the switch is good, otherwise it needs to be replaced.

      3) solid state relay detection: this should be connected to the power supply of the constant temperature platform, but beware of electric shock! Then turn on the heating switch to see whether the indicator light of the solid-state relay is on or shining can be regarded as normal input end of the solid-state relay. If it is not on, use the multimeter to detect 3-4 ends of the solid-state relay to see whether there is a voltage of 12VDC. If it is not, the thermostat is damaged. Then set the multimeter to the 750VAC gear, and measure the 1-2 end of the solid-state relay with the meter pen. If the voltage of 220VAC does not change, it can be seen that the solid-state relay is damaged and replaced.

      2. Users can refer to the following operations if they encounter the phenomenon of digital jumble of temperature controller in the heating plate of the laboratory:

      1) if there is "AT" letter in SV window, it indicates that the operation mistakenly long pressed the decimal shift key, started the thermostat self-setting, to cancel, please long press the decimal shift key for 3 seconds and then let go, the "AT" letter will disappear, if you do not cancel the thermostat will automatically cancel within 30 minutes.

      2) if the digital tube in PV window displays 1312, and the digital tube in SV window displays "ORAL", then the temperature sensitive line is open and replaced.
